SD-WAN Configure vEdge From vManage Template

Task: Configure vEdge-001 from vManage Template with the help of the task given below:

And from CLI configure vEdge-002, vEdge-003, and vEdge-004 VPN 2 Service network. And verify their connectivity.

Topology:

Solution:

Login to vManage then Go to Configuration | Template | Feature template vEdge Cloud | System | and provide the details mentioned in below figure like name, Site-Id , System-IP, Hostname

Go to Configuration | Template | Feature template vEdge Cloud | VPN and provide the details as given below : VPN ID 2 , Advertise OMP : Connected

Go to Configuration | Template | Feature template vEdge Cloud | VPN and provide the details as given below : VPN ID 1 , Advertise OMP Connected



Go to Configuration | Template | Feature template vEdge Cloud | VPN Interface Ethernet  and provide the details as given below : No shut Name: Loopback1 , IPV4 Static : 1.1.1.1/32

Go to Configuration | Template | Feature template vEdge Cloud | VPN Interface Ethernet and provide the details as given below : No shut Name: Loopback2 , IPV4 Static : 1.1.1.2/32

Go to Configuration | Template | Feature template vEdge Cloud | VPN and provide the details as given below :  VPN 0 , vbond: 10.10.20.80 ,0.0.0.0/0 10.10.20.254 , OMP : Static , Connected

Go to Configuration | Template | Feature template vEdge Cloud | VPN Interface Ethernet and provide the details as given below: No shut, Interface gi0/0, Ip static: 10.10.20.60/24, Tunnel-interface, Encp - IPsec , Allow all

Go to Configuration | Template | Feature template vEdge Cloud | VPN and provide the details as given below :  VPN ID : 512

Go to Configuration | Template | Feature template vEdge Cloud | VPN Interface Ethernet and provide the details as given below:  No shut, eth0. Ip dhcp client

Go to Configuration | Template | Device template | Create template from feature Template and select all feature template created above

Select the device template and at right three dots, click and select attach

Select the vEdge-001 Router and shift it right and click attach and then click on three dots again to edit the configuration and provide the following:

Once done, Select the vedge-001 and click on Next

On next page select the vEdge-001 Chassis number and click on Configure Device, after some time the configuration will become successful

Now For vEdge-002, vEdge-003, vEdge-004 configure VPN2 Service VPN loopback from CLI, command line has not been provided, as the steps are same as previous lab .

Now Login or SSH to vEdge-002 and run show IP routes, here you will see all the Loopback address for VPN 1 and VPN 2.

Now From vEdge-001 ping the Loopback 1 IP of vEdge-002 to verify the connectivity successfully
