LAB: Monitoring EC2 Instance via Cloud Watch

Task:

In this lab we will how to Monitor EC2 Instance Activity via Cloud Watch

Step 1: Configure SNS Service

Go to AWS Services | Select Amazon Simple Notification Service | Create Topic: DCLESSONS

Under Create Topic | Details: Select Standard | Name: DCLESSONS | Display Name: Dclessons Demo | Keep all default | Click Create Topic

Once Topic Is created | Select the Topic | Click on Create Subscription

Under Create Subscription | Select your Topic ARN | protocol: TCP | Endpoint : dclessons@dclessons.com | keep rest setting default | Click Create Subscription

Once Subscription is done , you will receive a mail to Confirm Subscription | Access your mail | Click on Confirm Subscription

After Confirming | Your Subscription status will show Confirm
