LAB: Configure Google Cloud Spanner & Test

Task

• Configure Cloud Spanner Instance 
• Create a Database under cloud spanner 
• Create table and Put Data on Table 
• Verify Data stored in DB table 

Solution

Login to GCP Console | Under database | Select Spanner

Under Cloud Spanner | Click Create a provisioned Instance

Under Instance | Instance name: dc-spanner-admin | Select Regional: us-central (lowa) | Under Allocate Compute capacity: Unit: Processing units, Quantity: 100 | Create

Under Cloud Spanner Instance | Click on Create Databases

Under Name your Database | Database name: dc-db | Select database dialect: Google Standard SQL | Create

Under dc-db Cloud Spanner Database | click on Create table
