LAB: Configure SNAT on Virtual Server

Topology:

Task:

Configure SNAT so that F5 can translate the client IP address to the SNAT POOL IP address, so that return traffic must reach to BIG-IP system.

Solution:

Follow below task in order to complete the task mentioned above.

Configure SNAT Pool

Go to Local Traffic | Address Translation | SNAT | Create SNAT POOL List

Use IP address from 172.16.10.180 – 183, which should be from same LAN. Refer below figure to configure SNAT pool correctly.

Use same Virtual Server, which we have configured in SNAT Auto-MAP,  use HTTP profile to None and Select SNAT to Source Address Translation  and in SNAT Pool use Same SNAT Pool.
