Configuring Templates 

Task :

In this part of the lab, we will build a template that will use your newly created racks while adding spine nodes to create a three-stage IP fabric.

Solution

we will create a custom template. Navigate to Design > Templates and click Create Template .

In the Common Parameters section, set the name of your template to my-template and set the type to RACK BASED since we are building a 3-stage IP fabric. 

In the Policies section, set the following values:

• ASN Allocation Scheme (spine):
• Unique Overlay Control Protocol: MP-EBGP EVPN

In the Structure section, select a Rack Type of my-esi (your multihomed rack). Set the Number of Racks to 1. Remember, you can start typing the name to focus on the list.
